Thank you to The Greenway Foundation for hosting the fundraising for Reopen Delgany Bridge.
The Delgany Pedestrian Bridge has been closed since 2021 due to broken and deteriorating planks, unsafe guard rails, and other structural deficiencies. The resulting detours are confusing and unsafe for trail users. A structural analysis revealed issues that require a larger restoration project. After extensive research it has been determined that the Delgany Pedestrian Bridge has no owner of record thus, preservation of the bridge has been entrusted to the community and the needed funds must be raised through donations.
